This video contains day and night video samples from the new BlackVue DR970X Plus front dash camera. I also have comparison footage from a BlackVue DR970X, a Thinkware U3000 and a VIOFO A229 Pro. The DR970X Plus, Thinkware U3000 and the VIOFO A229 Pro all use the new Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 image sensor.
The pre-production DR970X Plus dash camera that I used to create this sample footage is known to be very out of focus. I’m attempting to get a production DR970X Plus dash camera that has a better focus quality.
